
RICARDO GONZALEZ
Customer Success Manager

Meet Ricardo, who is originally from Mexico City, where he was born and raised. Trained as an industrial engineer, he began his career managing manufacturing operations before quickly finding his way into the world of startups.
Over the past seven years, Ricardo has worked across SaaS account management and customer success, primarily supporting mid-market and enterprise customers. His focus has been on driving adoption, retention, and expansion, and more recently, he’s leaned into the technical side of things. He’s built out customer success strategies and the infrastructure behind them, ranging from automated data pipelines (REST APIs to PostgreSQL/BigQuery) to dashboards in Looker and Tableau.
Ricardo is passionate about product and data. He recently spent time building a full-stack app using Flask and React, designing APIs and backend architecture from scratch. This hands-on experience has strengthened his ability to collaborate with engineering teams and think cross-functionally about customer experience.
Outside of work, Ricardo lives in San Francisco with his wife Olya and their Husky, Nala. He enjoys board games, being outdoors, cold water swims (though that one’s mostly his thing), and spending summers visiting friends and family in Portland. He grew up riding motorcycles, loves cycling and playing chess, and has a deep interest in science—particularly math and physics—as well as meditation and grounded spirituality. He’s also always up for analyzing the deeper meaning behind any movie or show.
