MICHAEL BLOOM

Michael is a Security Advisor at Eden Data. Before joining the company, he worked as a senior consultant at BARR Advisory, where he conducted SOC 1 and SOC 2 audits, as well as NIST risk assessments, for clients ranging from start-ups to large enterprises in industries such as cloud, technology, and healthcare. During his time at BARR, he also gained exposure to ISO 27001, ISO 27701, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, and NIST 800-53. Before that, Michael was a technology assurance associate at KPMG, focusing on SOX integrated audits and SOC 2 audits.

Michael currently lives in Las Vegas (no, not in a casino on the Strip) and graduated from the University of Arizona in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. Outside of work, he enjoys pushing serious weight in the gym, grilling and meal prepping, and cheering on the Vegas Golden Knights during hockey season.
