We’re a remote team operating and serving customers in five countries, and so far, 10% of our customer base are unicorns.

👨‍💻👩🏽‍💻 About the Startup Security Advisor

💼 The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll be helping our clients establish the most effective security, compliance, and privacy programs. You’ll be guiding clients through the security audit process. You’ll be leading cybersecurity training sessions. You’ll be developing strong relationships with client and investor leadership.

For this role, you need to be a winning combination of both a people person and an organized self-starter. You’ll be reporting directly to the executive team.

1. You effectively and critically evaluate systems, controls, and processes for compliance with relevant laws, regulations, policies, plans, and procedures.
2. You help clients build and implement effective security compliance programs.
3. You easily develop a strong rapport with both teammates and clients.

🌄 Your Background

It's likely you'll be a great fit for this role if you’re a security nerd with not only an understanding of but a passion for security, compliance, and privacy. We’re looking for someone who has a background in auditing IT and operational controls or process improvements—even better if you have Big 4 IT audit experience.

It would be pretty cool if you had a security certification such as CISA or CISSP, or any certifications in GCP or AWS cloud environments. It would also be nice if you have expertise with at least two of the following regulations/frameworks: SOC 2, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, HIPAA, HITRUST, CMMC and/or GDPR.
